WelkerMedia Foundation was started as a non-profit part of the WM company in 2014 with a mission to support creative youth and members of our community. Today it's an annual fellowship program that selects and supports the next game changers #Under25 who shape digital landscape through creative ventures, digital activism, social movements and socialpreneurship. WelkerMedia Foundation grants limited amount of projects that were featured by our selection committee. Awards include: exclusive mentoring and support, media coverage and exposure within our outlets, limited grants for individuals up to $15.000, specific funding options up to $100.000 from our partners.
Our awards and fellowship are exclusive to young creatives in the fields of digital activism, socialprenership, creativity and art. To be eligible, applicants must identify as persons under 25 years.
The Selection Process
Our selection committee is formed from a group of community councils, WelkerMedia staff, and external experts. The committee reviews all applications submitted within the specific period and evaluates each project based on a number of criteria.
