420 Nurses is a social network for girls 18+, who does modeling, advertising and marketing to promote medical marijuana. It was launched in 2009 in Hollywood by Angeleno ChaCha VaVoom and “a group of young and motivated women”, who wanted to fill the world with positive influences and stay themselves at the same time. Next year they made a website and went beyond the scope of being just a brand. Now it’s like a women movement, where they help each other in finding jobs and pursuing their dreams.

Expansion and Policy

In 2014 VaVoom expanded 420 Nurses by opening a photo studio, where the members can actually socialize and smoke for the camera. “Smoking pot can be something useful, an opportunity,” said VaVoom. “We give young women the inspiration on an everyday basis to feel better about themselves.” Her policy is not to take any commission for linking women to jobs, though they still pay for their profiles to be featured on the website. By 2016, it has thousands of registered members and also gets promoted on other social networks, like Instagram. Girls out there usually take have nicknames like PrincessPurpleKush or BudLady and post high selfies and videos of them slowly and tempting exhaling.

Classy, Not Trashy

There’s also a possibility for a girl to become a photographer or a makeup artist. Moreover, 420 Nurses convention booths usually need women who can pack bowls, set up a dab and get high with the customers and keep it cool. The casting instructions advices to know the limits and use your imagination “Please don’t just wear a bra and panties … sexy attire is one thing, undergarments are not outfits. Please dress sexy classy, not trashy!”

Last year 420 Nurses from Michigan had an interview about their activity. And there, an interesting question whether sex sells marijuana has been asked. It obviously does, they said. “If someone offered you five to ten thousands dollars to take a picture of you in an underwear with a bong, would you do it? Most women would say yes. Sex sells everything”.
